Forest park

The forest park awaits its guests with its unique beauty and calmness. Its rank was given by the Castle Wenckheim what was built in the beginning of the past century.
At the time nearly a thousand people lived here.

Its remaining 14.6 hectare is nature conservation area from 1989. A lot of extraordinary tree races can be found here, such as: the county’s largest Kentucky Coffeetree and huge Pedunculate oaks.

We would like to assure the hikers’ and picknickers’ convenience with the re-enacted old walk, keeping the castle’s surroundings tidy, fire pits, benches, a nice forest buffet.
You are given to choose from 3 different tour routes here, and we’re planning to establish 2 running tracks, with 1000m and 2000m length.
